About the company:

Pyou is the international identity of Lavoropiù, one of the most famous Italian companies operating in recruitment and human resources consultancy. We offer international R&S services thanks to local subsidiaries and international recruiting teams.
We are currently looking for a Business Developer based in Seoul, South Korea on behalf of our client, a wood manufacturing company. He will promote the brand on the main architectural firms in Asia Pacific territories (escluding China) and will be responsible to develop business in the area.

About the Job

Key Activities and Responsibilities:

• Manage the current business and plan development of business in the assigned areas by enlarging commercial channels as architects, contractors and professionals in the design sector;
• Create a network of prescribers, complementary companies able to bring added value to the Brand;
• Develop turnover in the area, ensure constant monitoring of the market and define the most suitable strategic actions to achieve the targets;
• Produce periodic reports on the implementation of actions planned and on the trends of reference market;
• Be able to work cross-functionally with other teams, inside and outside the Company

The ideal candidate

Key Skills Required:

• Bachelor’s degree in design or related field;
• 5-8 years – experience in the role of Area manager or Business Developer;
• Origin from furniture sector and analogues such as accessories, textiles, design objects;
• Familiarity with wood veneer, plastic laminate, or board products and wood fabrication process;
• Experience on social media platforms and Office programs;
• Availability for frequent travelling;
• Strong result orientation, leadership, team-working, proactivity and high communication skills;
• Fluent in English; the knowledge of Italian is a good plus;
• Based in Korea or in one of the most important cities of the Area, where many architects, contractors and professionals in the design sector are settled.
