More Asian Employees Now Want Flexibility; Only 7% Want a Completely Onsite Work Arrangement

Boston Consulting Group, based on data gathered from the survey Decoding Global Ways of Working, provides insights into worker preferences by gender, age, education level, level of digital skill, and position in the job hierarchy.
Most Asian respondents prefer a hybrid work arrangement, with two or three days in the office and working from home the rest of the week. A strong relationship with colleagues as well as financial security was cited as important factors for job preferences. “Environmental responsibility” and “diversity and inclusion” are becoming more essential topics to Asian workers.
